Vintage Yamaha FG350S Great Sounding Guitar NR! $249.99

This auction is for a Vintage Yamaha FG450S guitar in excellent condition. It shows very little use and is not abused. Solid spruce top, Ovankol ( very similar to Indian Rosewood) back and sides. The tuners are marked Yamaha Japan ,the Yamaha and Bird in the peg head are both inlayed with pearl, peghead is bound , finger board shows some wear on the first 3 or 4 fret as does the first 4 or 5 frets show light devits on the lower 2 strings, neck is straight and neck set is good , low e string at the last (soundhole) fret is 1/8" and high e between 1/8 and 3/16", saddle has room to go lower,  snowflake inlays in the neck, bound fingerboard, top is solid wood with great figure in it, its flat, bridge is tight, sound hole has multiple binding with a abalone rosette in the middle, top is bound w/b/w/b/w/b, the back is bound w/b/w, neck heal has a white cap.Crack free and only light nicks and scratches . The only negitive I can give on this guitar are some places where the finish has reacted to moisture? or something else that look to be in the outer finish, a fair amount along the back of the neck (tried to picture) and some on the back along the lower parts.This shows up light and looks like mold at first glance. This would not clean off with lemon oil or Pledge polish. Only effects the looks a little and has nothing to do with the sound. This guitar sounds great and chimes great.  This is a vintage instrument and not a new guitar but it is a nice Yamaha. If you are wanting a new guitar please do not buy a vintage instrument. This should be a great addition to any collection and it is a great playing/sounding guitar.As you know the higher the number the better the Yamaha. Don't see many Yamaha guitars above FG350 around here. The Ser # is 51203132, label is marked made in Taiwan Republic of China.Yamaha moved production to Taiwan in the earky 80's.
