Oh. Muy importante! There is a video way down at the bottom. I wanted to put in on top but what are you gonna do. PLEASE take a look!!!!!!

Hi again. It's Tuvia (again) still selling off the exaggerated collection to keep house and home together. My income is down to a fast half of what  it was and I have to pare back on an entire humidified, temperature controlled room of geetars. It it not the most uplifting of activities but here we go again!!!

Sigma. So I prefer not to think of them as low end Martins or cheap Martins or imported Martins. That cheapens the entire wonder, though a tas inconsistent, line of guitars. There are a lot6 of dandy guitars that come from a lot of countries. I have a few Swedish and on Finlandian (Finnish?) guitar. There are guitars that are not part of any US brand of legendary status that are really well made. Crafter is one. Aria is another. SIGMA? Well, a good Sigma is a hell of a good perhaps great guitar.

I have one that I love (a lower end D1) and will NOT sell. It is,  "rode hard and put away wet" and it will stay. On the other hand this delightful, magnificent guitar must go. Why, because I would get bupkus ("Bubkus" is a variation of "Bubkes" (also spelled: "Bupkis"), of Yiddish origin. It means "nothing at all", as in - 1) He was going to write a script by today, but all he has is bupkus. 2) He's worth bupkus.)) for it even though it sounds as good as this one.

I can't get the exact manufacture date for you. I would if I could but I can't.  Production moved to Korea in 1984. I am told that the serial numbers are meaningless. I don't believe that but not believing does nothing for my research.  I do know that they made the guitars in Korea for 10 years so at the least it is 17 years old and at the most 27 years old. Not much help I know.

This guitar sings like a siren. (Oh...not the ambulance kind the Odysseus kind) The sound seems even from high to mid to low. I know it is laminate. The top the sides all of it. But if no one told you that you wouldn't let that color your appreciation of the sound.

I can find no manufacturer's dimensions so I will measure it myself. I will do me best:

A
Neck Length
14 1/4 "

B
Body Length (Do not include strap pin)
19 3/4 "

C
Upper Bout Width (at widest point)
11 3/4 "

D

Lower Bout Width (at widest point)

15 5/8 "

E

Body Depth (at bottom of guitar)

14 1/8 "

F
Overall Guitar Length (do not include strap
pin)
40 5/8 "

G
Body Depth (at upper bout)
4 3/4 "

H
Overall Depth (from flat surface to top of
bridge)
4 3/4 "

I
Waist Width (at narrowest point)
10 15/16 "

J
Width of Neck (at beginning of neck)
2 1/4 "

K
Width of Neck (at nut)
1 5/8

What else? The neck is very comfortable. Bridge is solid to the body. No bulging anywhere. Now I have tried to picture all the defects I could find and caused. There is on bap into a microphone on open mike night smack. It is through the finish but other that being what it is there is no serious damage to the life of the guitar. There are various dings and minimal whacks here and there on the top. I did them all. You know what its like. Nothing in anyway impacts the solidity of the guitar. I have done my best to picture all these defects. That is more then is done on Internet Dating Sites. No? Sigmas are built like brick outhouses. The bracing is Martin-like.
It is sold "AS IS" but, as I have said, the "AS IS" is not that bad.

Now for the boilerplate:

All together now:

1. Lower 48 States only.
2. No Foreign Buyers or addresses. None.
3. If you have a bad rating don't contact me or bid. Really.
4. 3 days to return and buyer pays shipping.
5. Item is sold AS IS. I repeat Guitar is sold as is but the "as is" is pretty damn good considering.
6. PayPal accepted. Only PayPal.
7. Questions? Send them to me and I will do my best to answer them!
10.
I put down ten days for shipping because the motto on the Family Crest
is " You Never Know". Historically I get it out in less than five.
11. I insure for the full value.

Oh, The link below (you will have to copy and paste) will take you to an interesting disc
