Martin
Co. (and all U.S. woodworking companies) were restricted from using Brazilian
Rosewood circa 1969. No guitars are produced by Martin any longer using
Brazilian Rosewood. This, alone, makes the guitar more valuable. Between 1936
and 1962, only 1531 guitars of this model (00-28G) were produced. In 1947 when
this guitar was produced only 54 were made.
Bought
by my father. Guitar in truly excellent condition. Almost never played. Includes case
(slight damage to handle); upright stand for guitar; upright stand for music, tuning fork.
