It doesn't get much better than this. Holy Grail D18 from 1950, has one tip crack repair in the top, professionally cleated-an excellent job by luthier, Fred Minota, of the Repair Zone in San Diego, CA. There is some play wear where your arm would rest on the top and upper side as shown, and some wear to the finish on the back of the neck. All original and sounds like God on a good day. The tone and playability are absolutely amazing! Everything that is touted about 50's Martin's is quite true. They are the King of Kings in acoustic world, and none finer. Top is flat, frets and fretboard are in very good condition. At present it has no case, but that should be taken care of by end of auction. 10 day auction-NO RE$ERVE!! Good luck to all!
