Martin 0-42. Made in approximately 1898. Pre serial number era. Brazilian Rosewood back & sides. Ivory bridge. Inlayed bridge pins. Ivory bound top & back. Abalone sound hole ring. Abalone top border. Abalone border on top around edge of fingerboard. Ivory bound ebony fingerboard, German silver tuners. Pearl tuner buttons. Snow flake inlays at frets 5, 7, & 9.
This is from my personal collection. I’ve owned this guitar for approximately 25 years. It’s in the same condition as when I bought it. I had the bridge re glued approximately 15 years ago by luthier Scott Baxendale. I acquired the guitar from the daughter of the original owner. Non original hard shell case which is a little large for the guitar.
The guitar looks amazing. Martin’s highest quality craftsmanship. Plays & sounds great.
