Up for auction is a hard to find 1935 Gibson Cromwell G-2 Flat Top six string guitar. Cromwells were only made between 1935 to 1938 by Gibson. This G-2 Flat top was actually the rarest Cromwell Gibson made. It has been very well taken care of. It measures 14 3/4" x 19 1/4" It is similar to the Kalamazoo KG-14 These also came in a 4 string version called the GT-2. I've actually seen a few of those in past auctions but haven't seen any G-2s up for auction. I'd personallly rather have 6 strings. This guitar has been welll take care of. I see no big flaws on this guitar or repairs. It has the normal very minor surface crazing that most guitars it's age have. No serious nicks or chips. Neck is very straight. Just see the pics to see the wonderful overall condition. It still has the Beare and son 4 Albert Street Toronto, Canada catalog label in the inside.
