This auction is for an early 1961 Gibson melody maker single cut
the guitar is original minus the tuners and the bridge (i have the original tuners and they will be included with the guitar) and the bridge was also replaced with a badass but i dont have the original stop tail piece the new tuners are grovers and they works just fine and as you probably know grovers means the holes are slitly larger to fit these but the old one could be back without any problems...... the case is an after market
the guitar plays very well and has a great neck with original frets wich are still perfect SO, this guitar has no break and is trouble free it plays very well the rod works as it should
it sounds like a tele on steroids so this is a 100% original minus the stop tail piece and the tuners it has just normal playwear wich you can see in the pictures
original frets are still very good
the guitar doenst need any work its ready to be played
