  Gibson J-40 acoustic guitar

Notes

  Serial number is 681478. Guitar was completed in 1971-1972 or 1974-1975.
  "Made in USA" stamp on back of headstock.
  Tuning machines, including thumb keys, are intact.
  *** Guitar needs work (see pictures): three splits on front, some cowboy chord fret wear on the first several frets, neck heel coming away from body, bridge coming up.
  Binding, nut, and neck seem okay. Truss rod has not been tested.
