Vintage Acoustic Guitar

NO RESERVE - SHIPPING TO USA 48 ONLY -  Up for sale is my 1974 Gibson J-50 Acoustic Guitar complete with original Lifton style hardshell case.  Made in USA.  This guitar is a genuine closet classic that was stored and forgotten in a
closet for the past 35+ years.  It's in prestine condition for its age, and has two professionally repaired soundboard cracks at either side of the neck joint that do not affect the tone or playability.  The restoration and repair was performed by world renowned luthier Michi Matsuda (www dot matsudaguitars dot com) at Gryphon Strings in Palo Alto, CA. The guitar plays and sounds fantastic as a result of a set of hand carved spruce bracings that Michi strategically placed to reinforce the repaired area - the soundboard now has improved strength, focus, and enhanced resonance that delivers very lush and complex overtones as a result of the restoration which effectively makes this guitar sound even better than it was originally.  I have no problems keeping this if it does not sell as it's one of the best sounding vintage Gibsons I've ever owned.  Very toneful acoustically and powerful when amplified, it's a versatile acoustic which plays and sounds fantastic for most music styles.
