Description: 1965 Gibson J-160E acoustic electric guitar.

Cosmetic
Condition: Good, honest play wear with various nicks, chips, dents & dings; some surface
scratches & weather checking. No cracks. The sunburst finish has
been stripped & at one time the guitar had two large pickguards on
either side of the soundhole. There is just a very slight gap between
the back of the bridge & the top of the guitar, but not bad.

Neck:
Mahogany neck with binding & side dot markers. Rosewood
fingerboard with trapezoid inlays. Original frets have some wear, but
still plenty of life left in them. This model has the more desirable
wider nut width - 1 11/16". Unoriginal gold Schaller tuners. Previous
holes have been filled.

Body: Round shoulder dreadnought with
spruce top & mahogany back & sides. Top & back binding.
Rosewood bridge with adjustable saddle. Tortoise style pickguard is not
original.

Pickup: P-90 single coil neck pickup with single volume & tone controls.

Set
Up: Professionally set up by our guitar tech & strung with brand
new Martin med/light gauge Phosphor Bronze acoustic strings.

Playability / Sound: Nice, low action - neck is very comfortable. Bright tone.

Case: Vintage hardshell case included - a little rough, but serves its purpose well.
