VINTAGE 1964 GIBSON LG-1 LG1 LG 1 ACOUSTIC GUITAR

Description: 1964 Gibson LG-1 acoustic guitar finished in tobacco sunburst.

Cosmetic Condition: Pretty clean, but lots of weather checking; small nicks & dings.

Weight: 4 lbs .5 oz.

Notes: Sent to Gibson last year for work - new bone nut; removed original plastic bridge & replaced with hand made rosewood bridge with bone saddle custom cut for intonation. New Kluson tuners; brand new frets; all braces checked.

Neck: Mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard & pearloid dot inlays. 1.69" nut width.

Body: Solid spruce top with mahogany back & sides. Binding has a gorgeous patina to it. Large, tortoise shell pickguard - no cracks.

Set Up: Professionally set up by our luthier & strung with brand new med-light strings.

Playability / Sound: Nice, low action; neck feels great & is very comfortable to play - no dead spots. Nice, bright tone typical of this model with many more years of play still in it.

Case: Original chipboard case included.
