Vintage Acoustic Guitar

Up for auction at NO RESERVE is our beautiful one family owned guitar! Originally purchased new by my Great Grandfather in 1948, this beautiful heirloom has stayed in the family and has been well cared for since being handed down to me.

Not being a guitar expert I had a professional appraisal performed to advise me of the guitar’s features and value in addition to how to care for it.

Here are the details on the guitar as per the invoice of Appraisal:

Vintage L-7 Gibson - Model #: A-1435 Acoustic Guitar

It has f-holes, varied pattern fingerboard inlays, sunburst finishes and nickel-plated metal parts.  16" wide, trapeze tailpiece, single-bound top and back, single-bound pickguard, single-bound rosewood fingerboard, varied pattern inlay beginning at the 3rd fret, single-bound peghead, fleur-de-lis peghead inlay, sunburst.   

Guitar condition: Minor scratches and chips of paint, light wear in areas of contact, hook screwed in back of neck action high, wear on frets (5)

This guitar was stored in a cool climate and is currently being stored appropriately with a humidifier with a special gauge to keep the humidity at the right levels.  The guitar was seldom played and is in very good condition!

Case condition: Original condition/handle in tack rivet pulling out, minor scuff marks that can be buffed out, missing (2) case feet.

The guitar comes with the original case, stand, acoustic attachments, several boxes of strings and the appraisal.
