Up for auction is a 1970's (1973-1975) Gibson J-50 Deluxe guitar. This great sounding guitar is a player's dream. In great condition for its age, this guitar shows only slight wear under the low E string (see photos)  and a small crack at the sound hole next to the high E side of the fingerboard. The neck is straight and the frets are in excellent condition. The tortoise binding is showing signs of crystallization, but appears to be solidly attached. There is a strap button added at the heal. There is also a small hole at the heal where another strap button was added at some point. This first button caused a crack in the heal that appears solid and doesn't move (I'm assuming it was glued before I purchased the guitar).  Serial number is A140612 for anyone wishing to confirm the date of manufacture themselves.
