2007 GIBSON HUMMINGBIRD TRUE VINTAGE
ORIGINAL PREMIUM CASE

Very low mileage.  Spent most its life in the case.  Sounds incredible.

For auction is a 2007 Gibson Hummingbird True Vintage.  The True Vintage is Gibson's top shelf  line of acoustics - they feature the very best woods for both tone and appearance, bracing optimized for projection, vintage accurate appointments, and attention to detail reserved only for the finest guitars produced in limited quantities.  2007 and 2008 featured True Vintage specifications no longer offered - a gloss "honey burst" type finish with a tiny hint of red.  2009 to current True Vintage guitars are darker (top, back, and sides), much more red, and the finish is a VOS.  Personally, I like the 2007-2008 specs much better!  There is also a passive Dean Markley Sweet Spot pickup installed.  I chose this pickup because I used it with an outboard DI effects unit and did not want this guitar to be weighed down with any onboard preamp/batteries.

This guitar is in bedroom/showroom (whatever-you-want-to-call-it) condition.   I've seen guitars selling "brand new" in stores in worse condition than this one.  There is a couple dings on the top that do not come out really with pictures and an unsightly scratch on the body near the strap button (pictured).  None of these are past the surface level and I'm sure can be cleaned up nicely with the right tools.  Otherwise, giving it a good look up and down - it looks pretty new.  The engraved pickguard is perfectly in tact without any wear.  If you have any questions, ask before bidding.  As usual, this guitar is sold as is - you will not be disappointed!
