Somehow my beginning paragraph did not get into print. This Heritage is stamped as a second and you can verify this through Gibson Customer Service, the second is a reference only to a finish flaw. No Gibson has ever left the plant with structural or palyability issues. I have indicated in the last picture, what is believed to be the reason for the "second stamping". 

For some history on the model from the book “Gibson’s Fabulous Flat-Top Guitars” production of the Heritage began in 1965 with the objective of attracting both the bluegrass and country players. The design was specifically geared towards competing with the Martin D-28. In fact (I have posted a picture from the book) the Heritage was the third most expensive guitar in Gibson’s lineup in 1965 just under that of the Dove Model and much more expensive than the Hummingbird Model.

Playability:

This guitar is currently setup with D’Addario 12 ga. 80/20’s and as with most expensive Gibson’s plays with a no buzz low action. It is difficult to find a lot of information relating to specifications on the neck but according to the book I am quoting from this was the same neck and tuners used on the Dove Model of that era. So in researching the Dove’s of the 70’s you should be able to make that determination.

The fretboard and fret wires show moderate wear. When I bought this guitar I had my luthiers go over it to check the overall condition and make adjustments to the setup to suit my style. There is a lot of life remaining in the treasure.

I go through every guitar I sell to make sure it meets or exceeds my description of the condition but this is a used guitar so I encourage you to ask questions before bidding. It comes in a Gibson Acoustic HSC that is old but in EC+ Condition however due to the blue interior, I am pretty sure it is not the original case that came with this guitar.
