Vintage Acoustic Guitar

1965 Gibson Hummingbird Acoustic guitar, serial number 283xxx, in beautiful Cherry Sunburst finish - in very good condition, with adjustable bridge and vintage 60s hardshell case. This is a wonderful sounding 65 Hummingbird - loud, but very warm - great articulation, and yet a really intimate sound. Super super comfortable to play. There is a good bit of finish checking, which adds to the guitar's vibe - some scratches and very minor dings - there is one crack repair and touch up on the guitar's backside, lower bout. Solid repair and touch up, professionally done. Frets are nice and meaty - some divots on the first two frets, the rest are in great shape - lots of life. Great neck carve - very comfortable. This old Bird has been lovingly played over the years, and it has a few relic scars, but all the best ones have been played and have that burned-in vibe - this is one of them.
