sale is one used 1953 Gibson L-4C acoustic/electric archtop guitar in excellent condition and perfect playing order.  This beautiful guitar is ready for action.  It was fitted professionally with a Bartolini pickup system so it could be amplified.  The guitar sounds fantastic either acoustically or plugged in.  The input jack is a mini.  It features a carved Spruce top, laminate back and sides and double binding on the body.  The pickguard and pickup are the only non-original aspects of this guitar. 

Its condition is excellent with no major blemishes, a great feature considering its age.  The tuners have some oxidation which is documented in the photos.  The frets have lots of life in them and showing little wear.  The finish shows checking and there are some dings scattered around the body, neck, and headstock.  The most major flaws are the dings in the neck which can also be seen in the photos.       

The serial number is A-15368 indicating its year of manufacture to be 1953.

It comes with the original hard shell case.
