vintage acoustic guitar 381041606260893580 1938 Vintage Gibson L 50 Acoustic Archtop Guitar

Gibson Archtop made between 1938/1942 (3 out of 4 guitar shops say it is a 1938)

  • has the gold script cursive logo

  • there are no cracks or repaired cracks

  • the neck body joint is super tight, neck is straight, neck angle still perfect -  the neck is very comfortable, about a medium size C

  • frets are fine, no loose binding

  • the action is 1/8 of an inch at the 12th fret

  • the bridge is in the perfect spot for the correct intonation... it plays and sounds great

  • has a very thick solid carved spruce top and maple back and sides

  • everything is original  except for the reissue grover tuners, which are very nice and keep it in tune (the original tuner buttons were deteriorated and will come with the guitar and will be in the case pocket as well as the endpin)

  • there are some scratches and pick scratches you can see where the end of the fretboard lays over the body, and there's a  spot on the pickguard side lower bout where the finish has peeled off, but no major damage, just cosmetic stuff  and normal playing wear . also some normal playing wear on the back of the neck. (please see photo's).

  • the guitar will come in the case you see pictured, not the original case.

** This is a great piece of GIBSON history and also a very nice archtop that is in great shape **
