I am selling my Gibson L-00 Parlor - This is not a re-issue of any kind
and it is actually in great shape. I am the 3rd.Owner of this little
beauty ... The second owner was my grandfather who had this for over 35 years minimum . The instrument is in fabulous shape and came from having a full set up recently where the Luthier agreed with my thinking that it DOES NOT need a neck reset. I know many if not most of these do but this has been stored in a humidity controlled environment the bulk of its life and  - I do not have any record of their being any refinishing work although I do know that this is not the original bridge. I have included some highly detailed pics  I am eager to
sell this because we are in over our heads with a home remodel and it is
time to sell off some of the guitars that do not get the attention that
they deserve. Frets are in great shape and of course it has
Nitro Cracking so the body breathes very well. There is nothing wrong with this instrument - and if
given the choice I would not sell it especially because it is so sentimental. but - well .... times are tough all
over. It is not perfect nor free of the fairly light wear on a guitar of this age but it is a remarkable example of the Gibson L-00. It is
in better shape than most I have ever seen.

 The measurement of the string action at the 12th fret is just greater than 3mm. - I am no
luthier and not a pro Guitar tech but the measurement that i have for
this is a touch over 3mm.

This comes with a hard shell case but it is not the Original.

We use UPS for domestic (US) shipping.

We ship UPS ground domestically, and expedited internationally. We only ship UPS if payment is made through PayPal, but we will ship other methods if paid by wire transfer or bank checks.
Return Policy:
For buyers in the US, stringed instruments are subject to a 48 hour approval period. These instruments are not returnable unless they are delivered in a condition that is different from what was described. Instruments may now be returned for subjective reasons such as 'feel', etc with some restrictions, read on.
For example, if I were to send you a guitar and say it's all original and it turned out not to be, I would issue a full refund upon return of the guitar. If I were to send you an old Martin and tell you that it doesn't need a neck reset and it does, I will issue a full refund.

I am happy to ship international to any country other than the very few that have been problematic for us in the past but even then just ask me and if you are on the level then I am always open minded. Japan and Europe, Australia, South Africa, North and South America Scandinavia, Russia - All are fine so please don't worry and bid with a sigh of relief. Please note that our feedback is 100% because if there has ever been an issue then it is resolved to the benefit of our buyers. Selling and buying guitars - very expensive and collectible American instruments is what we do and all of sales reflect this.  from $300 to $30,000 - all is handled methodically, carefully, respectfully and in a timely manner. As an example - if you win this guitar and there is a snow storm where you live or if the guitar flies over Greenland in frigid temperatures then we pack it accordingly and give instructions on how to unpack it safely. If the weather is just too bad - I may call you and ask you what your choice is and perhaps suggest to wait until the minus 40 degree cold front passes before we ship (lol).  The neck is V-Shaped, but not too fat, and the action is great for
finger style blues which is why (I think) this model is the one dubbed the "Blues King". Having played many L-sized guitars from this period,
I find that there is a wide range of tonal quality .. some sound great -
some are louder than others and some sound tinny or thin .. this is a great one. Clear, ringing mid and
treble tones with woody, resonant bass. Mahogany back and sides, red
spruce top, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and bridge. The guitar
appears to be mostly original and like I said "I have no memory of this having had any refinishing work or otherwise as it has been in my family for the better part of 40 years. I know that the bridge is in fact not original and know that it was done while my Grand Father owned this."
